The Humber Nature App encourages residents living around the Humber Estuary and visitors to better understand, enjoy, protect and enhance the estuary’s wonderful natural environment.  To help us in this aim we have just launched a Humber Nature App which provides information on ten key locations around the Humber Estuary where people can learn about the estuary and the wider natural world.  These are:

Spurn National Nature Reserve

The Deep

Humber Bridge Country Park

North Cave Wetlands

Blacktofts Sands

Alkborough Flats

Far Ings

Waters' Edge Country Park

Donna Nook

Saltfleetby & Theddlethorpe Dunes

The Humber Nature App also includes Codes of Conduct which ensure our natural environment is protected.

You can download the Humber Nature App from Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store.

The Humber Nature Partnership would welcome comments on the future development of the App.

The Humber Estuary is internationally important for wildlife.  It is designated as a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and a Special Protection Area (SPA) under the Habitats Regulations.  It is also internationally important wetland under the Ramsar Convention. These designations form a European Marine Site (EMS).

The Humber Nature Partnership works with its members and others to deliver the sustainable management of the Humber Estuary European Marine Site. To learn more visit our website www.humbernature.co.uk.
