New Management at Humber Nature Partnership

After 21 years of dedicated service and leadership, Darren Clarke stepped down from his role as Manager of Humber Nature Partnership. Darren has been instrumental in growing Humber INCA (Industry Nature Conservation Association) and Humber Nature Partnership since 2012 following the merger of Humber INCA and Humber Management Scheme. 

Darren said "I would like to extend my thanks to all of our members and colleagues, past and present, who I have worked with over the last two-decades. Leaving Humber Nature Partnership was not an easy decision, but I am very confident it will be in safe hands”.

Alexandra Hajok has stepped into the role as the new manager of the Humber Nature Partnership. Alexandra has over 20 years of experience specialising in Geospatial data and GIS (Geographic Information Systems). She has an extensive background in landscape and habitat datasets, has worked for organisations such as Natural England and The Wildlife Trusts, and has management experience within consultancies. Having studied Geography at Hull, Alexandra is looking forward to working with businesses, organisations and others to help better the local environment, putting her experience with environmental work, collaboration and her love of the natural world to work.

Stating “ I can't wait to see what we can achieve together for nature, the environment, the local economy and people in this area. This is a very special part of the world - one that I am repeatedly drawn back to, and I'm so pleased to be able to work for its benefit.”

Paul Learoyd, Chair of Humber Nature Partnership Board, is delighted to be working with Alexandra stating, “It’s an exciting time for Alex to take up the role and I along with the Board look forward to working with her. She brings an impressive range of skills and experience to the role of Humber Nature Partnership Manager.”
