On the 13th December 2013, the government agreed the Hull and Humber City Deal to make the most of the Area’s local strengths to create jobs and boost growth in the area. Under the ‘accelerated growth’ element of the City Deal, key work areas which will ensure sustainable development alongside growth in the region. These include the Humber Spatial Plan, compensation/mitigation strategy and the development of a data observatory.
The Humber Nature Partnership is working with the Humber LEP to support the development of these projects to ensure that the appropriate ecological data is obtained and used to support growth in the area.
