Projects

In addition to the ongoing implementation of the Humber Management Scheme, the Humber Nature Partnership also undertakes various projects which contribute to the sustainable management of the estuary.

Current project work includes:

  • Investigating the effects of recreational disturbance the Humber Estuary SPA.
  • Assisting with the development of an ecological mitigation strategy for the South Humber Gateway.
  • Previous projects have included the Codes of Conduct and Signage and the ongoing activity reporting.

Located on the northeast coast of England the Humber Estuary is the country's largest port complex handling 14% of the UK's international trade.

Our work

The Humber Nature Partnership works with its members and others to deliver the sustainable management of the Humber Estuary European marine Site.
