Work is now well underway to create a 16-acre thriving wetland habitat in the Ancholme Valley, thanks to a £100,000 loan from The Wildlife Habitat Charitable Trust (WHCT). The Barton on Humber Wildfowlers secured the loan, from the grant-giving arm of the Wildlife Habitat Trust (WHT) set up by BASC, in 2017 to purchase the arable farmland on the Humber Estuary and they are now starting to see the fruits of their labour.
