Wild Humber

A new Humber Nature Partnership TV documentary, Wild Humber is ready for broadcast.  This 25 minute programme, filmed entirely on location, showcases the amazing stories of some of the long distance bird migrants visiting the estuary. 

Local experts explain why the estuary is so important for birds, what draws the birds (and us) to the Humber and how we play a vital role in their survival.

The programme was made possible by a generous grant from the National Grid Community Fund.

The first broadcast of the programme is scheduled for Saturday 19th October on local TV channel Thats TV.  

Thats TV is broadcast in the vicinity of the Humber Estuary including Hull, Grimsby, Cleethorpes and parts of South Yorkshire.  It is available on

The programme will be shown on Saturday 19th October at 6.00pm and 9.00pm.  

If you are unable to access the TV channel, the programme will be released on our Youtube channel on Monday 21st October.
