Consultation on the draft Humber High Tide Roost Report

UPDATE: November 2016:

The final report has now been published and can be downloaded from here.

In 2013, the RSPB and Natural England began reviewing a 2006/7 report on high tide roosts on the Humber. The aim of the work was to update the original report, which highlighted areas of particular importance for roosting birds. This involved consulting bird surveyors and others around the Estuary for their knowledge of areas that birds use during high tides. The RSPB and Natural England would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those consulted for their input and support with this process.

A draft report, compiling the information received, has now been produced by the Institute of Estuarine and Coastal Studies at the University of Hull. The project team would be very grateful for any feedback on the report.  Please send any comments either via email or as comments/tracked changes on the draft report to by Friday 5th February. After this date, a final version will be produced and made available. If you would like to find out more about the project or have any queries then please call Richard Barnard at the RSPB on 01484 868425.
